Establish in 2022, Create Organic Arch Designs (C.O.A.D) is a non-profit organization that believes in sustaining buildings for the future; and we do so by using the Earth’s natural resources.
In 2019, Dixon emailed Michael Reynolds website regarding her interest in building an earthship; their response was, “we have no plans to build in Louisiana.” This response left Dixon feeling a little disheartened, but after a two-year (2018-2019) battle with cancer, she decided to pioneer forward.
Traditionally, 40% of an earthship walls are constructed of recycled tires, and other recycled materials. The tires are filled with dirt; then the dirt is compacted inside the tire through a ponding technique, once the tire expands it can then be stacked in a stagger pattern creating the desired wall height. Recycled cans and bottles are also used as fillers in wall construction.

Dixon has been experimenting with Solar Power Energy & Organic Structures for several years now.
Due to her diligent work, dedication and tenacity in the field, a relative nicknamed her "Solar Gurl".
We have design solutions that are only being used in third world countries. However, it's time to bring those solutions to the United States. Solutions such as such sustainable organic structures will allow people to retire early, and enjoy their latter years of their life.
Our Vision
Our initial vision is to design and build an earthship in Louisiana.
With so many families struggling financially, and worrying about meeting monthly revolving bills— This type of sustainable architecture is needed now more than ever, and it's time to address the issues and bring forth solutions.
Our Plan
We already have the land for the development. Our goal is to increase the quality of life throughout all stages of their life.
